Spotify Group Session

Spotify has a new feature called group sessions. If you have a premium subscription to Spotify, you can join a Spotify group session. Once you’ve joined a group, you can add friends and edit the playlist to suit each other. All the collaborators can see changes instantly. There’s no limit to the number of participants, so you can invite as many people as you want. To start a group session, simply scan the code under the ‘Start a group session’ tab.

When you’re ready to join a Spotify party session, sign in to your account and click on the “Group Session” button on the bottom right corner of the home screen. From there, you can share a link or a unique code with your friends. You can even send the link to others by text message or via a third-party messaging service. You can also share a playlist using the same method, and invite people.

Fallback Playlist on Spotify

Spotify has released a new feature that lets you set your party playlists to automatically play when there are no other songs queued. Essentially, this mode is a great way to give your guests the soundtrack they want without worrying about missing out on their favourite songs. Unlike traditional playlists, Spotify playlists can be used on any connected device, making them a great party resource. For example, you can set Spotify to play the Fallback Playlist whenever the party is over, even if there are no other songs queued.

Playlists Accessible to Everyone

Another way to make sure that the playlists you choose are accessible to everyone is to set up a Group Session. This feature lets you invite your friends to join your Spotify party and contribute to a collaborative playlist. You can also control which songs play on your playlist. The only downside to this option is that it’s only available to Premium subscribers. However, many young people do not have the luxury of upgrading. Therefore, Spotify should make it so that free users can participate in collaborative playlists to a lesser extent than premium subscribers, but still force them to upgrade.
